Is the SangoBids iOS app free?
Yes. The app is free on the Apple App Store and includes a Free plan with tender search and a weekly alert. The Business and Pro plans add the Go/No-Go on every tender, awarded contracts and preparation tools — billed through Apple In-App Purchase.
Which iPhone and iPad models are supported?
SangoBids requires iOS 15 or newer. It runs on iPhone 7 and later, all iPad models running iPadOS 15+, and is fully optimized for iPhone 12 through iPhone 16 and the latest iPad Pro.
Does the app work in Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, and Guinea?
Yes. SangoBids covers public tenders from official government sources in all six countries. The app auto-detects your country at first launch and you can switch country anytime from the home screen.
Is the app available in English?
Yes. The full interface, tender summaries, and notifications are bilingual French and English. Tap the language switch in Settings to swap. Tender notices in the source language can be translated FR/EN in one tap.
Will I get tender alerts on my phone?
Yes. Every week SangoBids sends a notification with the tenders matching your sectors, regions or keywords, plus configurable deadline reminders. With Business or Pro you can switch on daily or instant alerts. Each channel can be turned off independently.
Can I use SangoBids without internet?
Tenders you've saved sync to your phone and stay readable offline. New search results and alerts require a connection, but the app is built to be light on data — works smoothly on 3G across the region.
How does the app compare to using SangoBids in the browser?
Same data, same accounts. The browser version (sangobids.com) and the iOS app share one login and the same tender database. The phone app adds push alerts, faster save-to-phone access, and is optimized for one-handed use during commutes and site visits.
Is there an Android version?
Yes. The Android app is free on Google Play, with the same alerts and the same account as on iPhone and the web.
Is my data secure?
Yes. SangoBids encrypts your data in transit and at rest, and your company file uses Apple's secure-enclave keychain. We never sell your data and our privacy policy is at sangobids.com/privacy.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions purchased via the iOS app are managed through your Apple ID. Open Settings on iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, find SangoBids, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
